Welcome to BECCOR,

Where we bring you the best Brazilian specialty coffees directly from the farms to the roasters.

History:

Beccor was conceived from a recurring dream that Bruno Souza experienced after visiting his first coffee shop in 1993 (New York City). To Bruno's disappointment, coffee from Brazil was not offered among many of the finest from around the world.

From this point his dream evolved to present to the United States consumer the excellence of some Brazilian coffees wich can be compared to some of the best around the world.

Coffee Regions:

Beccor represent coffee from three regions in Minas Gerais which produces fifty percent of Brazil's coffee:

  • South Minas
  • Cafe do Cerrado
  • Matas de Minas

Located in the region of Cerrado, Bruno's family Estate is Cafezinho.

Brazil is approximately the same size as the USA and the 4th largest country in the world.

Brazil is ecologically diverse and possesses many different microclimates which countributes greatly to the production of specialty coffee.

Why are Brazilian coffees so unique?

The Brazilian coffees that BECCOR represents are rich in sweetness, body and crema which is a must for espresso. These particular coffees are valued for much more than their highly pleasing flavor characteristics. They bring with them the knowledge and passion passed down through four generations of Brazilians.

Sons and daughters of coffee farmers, who had left the farm for college to become physicists, lawyer and other professional occupations, find themselves returning to their family's traditions in honor of their forefather's hard work and sacrifices in a continued effort to promote a sustainable coffee farm, ever striving to improve the quality and quantity of the best beans of Brazil.
